I was angry and frustrated most if the day….mostly little, non issues that could have been resolved with some perspective realignment. But those always end in watershed moments and you’re crying about everything (nothing) and yelling at your car and screaming about Bluetooth technology and finally HATING that person staring back at you from the rear view mirror.
So I came home and did some cooking therapy in the form of roasting a chicken and making a soup out of part of it.
i cannot stress this enough: if you are having a day where you feel like you’re running up against brick walls of your own creation and you’re angry at everything from your cat to global warming to all the shouting voices on the Internet to the price of god damn MILK, roast yourself a chicken. And 10 minutes before its done, pour a cup of leftover wine (ha! Yeah right, open a bottle and share it with your chicken is more like it) in the bottom if the roasting pan.
Get your chicken drunk is what I’m saying. You’ll thank me
