Knitted lab animals in actual dissection trays. I love twisted craft projects. As my friend Jen (who showed this to me) said, “I am in love with whoever made it. Imagine sitting next to them on the subway as they knit lungs.”
In my (all-boys) 7th grade biology class I instigated a (losing) campaign against dissecting frogs on humane grounds. I doubt this would have helped.


Them there lungs actually look like felted roving, meaning they wouldn’t be knitted, really, but it still looks totally cool (/knitting nerdery).


I want to make one. Now.
