Tracey Thorn - Hard Candy Christmas
I’m not a big fan of the super choir-y, trumpets blaring holiday music (obvious exception for Mariah Carey singing Christmas anything). This entire album captures the moodiness of a cold, cloudy winter day perfectly. And it’s from the goddess who brought us this amazingness. And you can get it for like $6 on Amazon. It’s a nice drink of something a bit sharp and tart to cut through all the sweetness of the holidays.
